SMSPlugin

SMSPlugin! is the SMS engine that sends and receives SMS via a GSM modem and using a configurable database as its medium. SMSPlugin! is the one responsible for sending and receiving of SMS, including the sending of escalation SMS based on the escalation list given.

SMSAgent

SMSAgent! is a middleware between SMSPlugin! and your existing applications such as (but not limited to) WhatsUp Gold and SolarWinds Network Monitoring tools which do not have any accessible database for the SMSPlugin! to connect directly. SMSAgent! extends the capability of SMSPlugin! to communicate with more existing applications. It allows SMSPlugin! to communicate thru command line, text file, FTP, and thru Email.
